Members of Apple’s Developer Connection were greeted with an Xcode 3.2.1 Developer Tools Download this week, an update that delivers bug fixes in gdb, Interface Builder, Instruments, llvm-gcc and Clang optimizer, and Shark. Xcode is a suite of development tools for Mac OS X, created by Apple. The latest major version, Xcode 3.2, is bundled for free with Mac OS X v10.6, but it is not installed by default. Several dated versions of Xcode are available for free download from the Apple Developer Connection site, with version 3.2 not being supported on older Mac OS versions. “Xcode 3.2.1 is an update release of the developer tools for Mac OS X,†Apple says over at its Developer Connection site. “This release provides bug fixes in gdb, Interface Builder, Instruments, llvm-gcc and Clang optimizer, Shark, and Xcode and must be installed on Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard and higher.
