The “vampire frenzy” ignited last year with “Twilight,” starring Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, is not even close to coming to an end, E! Online believes. If the sense of anticipation surrounding “New Moon,” the second film in the franchise, is no indication of its success, the 2009 SCREAM Awards can function as confirmation for the above statement, as “Twilight” scooped four awards in major categories. Lautner, the young actor who plays wolf Jacob Black in the films, stood for all things Twilight during Saturday’s event. He also personally got to take home the award offered by Spike TV, during the yearly traditional ceremony celebrating sci-fi and horror productions, for the Best Breakthrough Male Performance, a category where co-star Robert Pattinson had also been nominated.
