Sunnyvale, California-based Advanced Micro Devices, the world's second largest processor vendor, has just announced the official expansion of its updated line of DirectX 11-capable graphics cards, with the introduction of the new Radeon HD 5700-series. The new releases have already been made official by a number of the company's board partners and include two new cards, the Radeon HD 5770 and the Radeon HD 5750, both of which are aimed at the mainstream market.âœThe ATI Radeon HD 5800 series reaffirmed AMD as the undisputed leader in visual computing technology,â said Rick Bergman, senior vice president and general manager, AMD Products Group. âœNow, the ATI Radeon HD 5700 series takes the same great features like ATI Eyefinity and ATI Stream technology as well as full hardware support for all DirectX 11 features, and bundles them into products priced well below $200 .âAs you might have read in recent news-articles, both cards have been designed using AMD's latest 40n!
