Under his attorney’s guidance, Jon Gosselin secretly raided of hundred of thousands of dollars the joint account that was set up in his and Kate’s name. In doing so, both had directly violated the terms of divorce set up by a judge back in July, being liable of fraud and contempt, Kate Gosselin’s high-powered attorney, Marty Singer, says in a letter written over the weekend and posted online by paparazzi agency / celebrity gossip website TMZ. According to the letter, addressed to Jon’s attorney and that also states that legal representatives for both parties will see each other in court in the following days, Jon Gosselin almost completely emptied the joint bank account, leaving Kate with just $1,000. He neither told his soon to be former wife that he was withdrawing money, nor asked for her permission to do so.
