Electronic Arts is announcing that the AFL Legacy Pack is now available on both the Xbox Live Marketplace and on the PlayStation Network, offering players a chance to celebrate 50 years since the birth of the American Football League. The package is priced at 560 Microsoft Points or 6.99 dollars. The biggest impact on Madden NFL 10 will be felt by players in the Franchise mode, where the 15 match-ups between teams of the AFL will employ the grainy, old-time look of the pack. The historic uniforms will be usable in all online and offline game modes. Players who will pick up the new pack will get the historical uniforms and the names of teams like the Buffalo Bills, the Denver Broncos, the Kansas City Chiefs known as the Dallas Texans, the New England Patriots (a.k.a the Boston Patriots), the New York Jets as the Titans of New York, the Oakland Raiders, the San Diego Chargers and the Tennessee Titans under the name of the Houston Oilers.
