The band, which is still going strong while its Detroit grunge rivals have mostly entered the history books, is set to release a new album, called “Backspacer,” on September 20 and players will not only be able to get the album and listen to it but also download it for the Rock Band videogame and play all the tracks released on the same day.The offer is the result of a deal made by Harmonix, MTV Games, Pearl Jam and Target.
