Just days before his untimely and sudden death, Michael Jackson was in negotiations for the purchase of an impressive Bel Air estate that he wanted to transform in a new and improved Neverland to the extent legislation would have allowed him to. Talks for the acquisition had taken place over no less than seven years, TMZ informs, and Michael was this close to sealing the deal when he unfortunately passed away. According to the celebrity gossip website / paparazzi agency, the late King of Pop had set his eyes and heart on the estate about seven years ago. He constantly kept up negotiations, but was never fully able to afford it because of the problems and lawsuits plaguing him regularly.
