HTC Dragon is yet another unannounced mobile phone that might come to the market running under Google's Android operating system. The handset has been rumored for a few weeks now, and has popped up in the news once again, this time getting a more specific name, as well as a carrier: it might become the HTC Passion Verizon Wireless was said to plan on launching in the near future not too long ago.[admark=1] In case this rumor pans out, Big Red's subscribers will have at leas two reasons to rejoice. For starters, we should mention that the Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation has reportedly packed the HTC Dragon with a 1GHz Snapdragon processor. Secondly, this device would prove to be one of the most appealing Android-based handsets, and Verizon would be the one to have it, shortly after debuting its first mobile phones powered by Google's operating system. The HTC Passion is supposedly a CDMA version of HTC Dragon, and that does not exclude the handset's availabili!
ty with other carriers around the world. According to the news, it should come to the market before the end of the ongoing year, sporting the Android 2.0 version of the platform. Considering the handset's specs and the fact that Motorola Droid is expected to come with Android 2.0 too, it surprise us not to see this Android flavor on Passion...
