South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung has reportedly released a new firmware update for one of its most popular devices on the market, the Samsung I8910 Omnia HD. There are a wide range of novelties that the new software comes with to the device, including a series of bug fixes and improvements, as well as new features. According to Symbian World, the new firmware version has been released only for Omnia HD users in Hong Kong and Russia at the moment, yet it should become available for users in other countries as well in the near future. However, until more details on when and where the firmware will become available, we should take a look at what has been included with it.For starters, the new software solution for the device comes with a camera fix, which replaces the AMR codec with AAC.
