HTTP:: Rose McGowan s Injuries Put Red Sonja on Hiatus

Not many fans of famed director Robert Rodriguez took it kindly when he became romantically involved with “Grindhouse†star Rose McGowan, especially since they guessed she would get cast in many of his movies in the future. Still, the “Red Sonja†project, scheduled for release in 2010, did manage to get their hopes high, despite having McGowan as the lead. Now, the film has been put on hiatus, Fox News informs. It seems the red-headed actress is a fan of doing her own stunts, or, at least, those that are easier to do. In doing so, McGowan injured herself and had to undergo surgery where doctors had to cut part of her elbow out, as the actress puts it. Now, “Red Sonja,†the comic-book adaptation about the fiery she-devil, has been put on hold while McGowan recuperates from surgery. “I had wrist and elbow surgery and they took part of my elbow out. I had really bad nerve damage from doing stunts â€" I do a lot of my own stunts.†McGowan tells Fox News for t!
