Gigabyte might not be the talk of the town when it comes to those small-sized, low-power, ultraportable computer systems that we all know as netbooks, but the Taiwanese company has some pretty nice alternatives to the extensive line of ASUS Eee PCs or Acer's latest Aspire One systems. Earlier this year, at CeBIT, the company unveiled its Touchnote T1028M, a convertible touchscreen netbook that provided users with a series of features that were not available on most systems in its category. It now appears that said system has received a configuration update and is currently available as the T1028X, providing users with improved processing power, new display and 6-cell standard battery pack.According to a recent news-article on the UMPC portal, Gigabyte has recently updated its Touchnote line of products with the introduction of the new and improved T1028X, an updated version of the company's T1028M, announced earlier this year.
