Mac developer Synium Software has released a new version of its flagship app, MacFamilyTree, a genealogy tool that lets users create family trees and display them in multiple ways. The product is shareware and costs $49.95. Synium Software has made improvements across all charts and fixed issues like a resizing problem for OpenGL-based charts, a bug preventing picture record using the integrated iSight, as well as issues in the Database Maintenance Pane. Besides enhancing Person Merge, the company also incorporated bugfixes for the MacFamilyTree.com upload and MobileMe upload. MacFamilyTree helps users document, store, and display information about their family. They can draw and print family trees, lists, cards, heritage charts, descendant charts and genograms. Mac users can also include multiple partners and people in the same relationships, while data is exported as HTML to build a web page, with many more export options being available.
