Mobile-phone maker Motorola is already known to plan launching on the market a second handset powered by Google's Android operating system, the Motorola Droid, headed for Verizon's airwaves and following the already available Motorola Cliq, which can be purchased in the US via T-mobile and in Europe via Orange (As Motorola Dext), but it seems that there is also an unknown part of the deal, namely that other carriers might also have the upcoming device. The Motorola Droid, soon to be launched on Verizon and already spotted with the carrier's branding on board, has just made a pit stop at FCC, and is reported to have displayed support for GSM networks. Moreover, it seems that the device, which is also known as the Motorola Sholes or Tao, might very well come to AT&T's network, at least this is what a recent article on MobileCrunch suggests.
