All women must have had at least once in their lifetime what is known under the generic term of “a bad hair day.” For many, this can mean one of those days when the humidity in the air is so high, absolutely none of the hair products they apply can stop it from getting frizzy. Especially for them, Living Proof and MIT Professor Robert Langer have created a special line that promises to put an end to frizz. The hair loses shape and becomes frizzy when it rains or the humidity in the air is above certain limits. This happens, the Professor tells the British media, because moisture gets in the hair shaft and expands it, which, in turn, means the more damaged the hair, the more frizz. Products currently available on the market, no matter which company makes them or how expensive they are, are all based on silicone.
