Leona Lewis was in London the other day promoting her autobiography, “Dreams,” and signing copies for fans, when a male fan simply reached out and punched her hard in the face, presumably in the eye. Police immediately stepped in and immobilized the assailant, while bodyguards escorted the singer out of the venue, the BBC informs. Leona was crying when she was rushed to her car and had most of her face hidden behind a pair of large sunglasses. According to reports, she did not need medical assistance after the incident, but was left terribly shaken by it because of its unexpectedness.
