Evenflow Inc., the company developing one of our favorite Mac apps, has released a new update for Dropbox, hoping to improve performance, LAN sync, CPU-use, transfer speed... the usual. Dropbox, for those who aren’t very familiar with the software, is a powerful, cross-platform, file-sharing & backup solution that enables users to have all their important files at hand, wherever they may be. Dropbox is a service + application available in both free and paid form. As the user downloads Dropbox and makes an account, 2GB of space are automatically assigned to them to employ for any purpose whatsoever. A user owning more than one computer with Mac OS X, Windows or Linux installed can install Dropbox on each computer and stop emailing files to themselves, moving them using flash drives. Dropbox eliminates this fuss by creating a folder whose contents are automatically synced on every computer as the user makes modifications. An iPhone version of the app is also available!
