Electronic Arts is still one of the biggest video game publishers out there, even though it has been overtaken by archrival Activision Blizzard. The company is on a new strategy, which doesn't rely as much on franchises but on new projects, but this doesn't mean that its hugely popular Madden or NFS series won't get new iterations this year. Another prestigious franchise, especially in Europe, is its FIFA soccer simulator, which will get a new installment in the form of FIFA 10, on October 2. Heading to a variety of platforms, including the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, Wii, PlayStation 2, DS and the PlayStation Portable, a lot of soccer fans will get their FIFA fix this fall. After revealing quite a lot of details surrounding the game, the company has now announced the cover athletes of the title for the UK region, and has also mentioned that some territories, like Germany, will be getting modified covers with local soccer players.
