Bungie is one of the most appreciated development studios in the industry, having established a name for itself by creating the critically acclaimed Halo series of first person shooters. The fact that it almost single-handedly made shooters work on consoles through its multiple Halo titles is something that needs to be appreciated. But, after many years under the corporate umbrella of Microsoft, the studio decided to split with the large corporation, though it seems that the “love affair” is still working smoothly as the company is working on not one but two more Halo titles, the first of which is due out this September, Halo 3: ODST, and the second next year, in the form of Halo: Reach. It seems that the latter might just be the last Halo project the company will work on, at least according to Bungie's senior designer, Lars Bakken, who revealed that a few months ago.
