HTTP:: Harry Potter Star Gets Community Service for Pot Farm

Back in April, Jamie Waylett, who starred in all six “Harry Potter†movies as Vincent Crabbe, was arrested on charges of possessing and producing a class B drug. The actor pled guilty last week and, just a few hours ago, got really lucky in court, as a judge ruled that the cannabis he was planting was for his own use, sentencing him to just 120 hours of community service, TMZ reports. The days news broke in the media of both the kind of charges brought against him and the nature of the operation he was running, estimates had it that Waylett stood to spend the next 14 years of his life behind bars. With all that, the judge presiding the case ruled that the cannabis farm found at Waylett’s home (his mother’s, actually) was small-scale and solely for his own purpose, so he sentenced him to community work instead of jail time. “Jamie Waylett â€" who appears in all six ‘Potter’ flicks â€" was busted back in April when cops found eight bags of weed in the car in!
