Leading telecommunications solutions provider ZTE announced on Monday that it opened the gates of its LTE (Long Time Evolution) testing laboratory at its United States headquarters in Richardson, Texas. According to the company, the new lab is aimed at enabling it to demonstrate and test its own CDMA/LTE platform, which is expected to offer carriers the possibility to deliver LTE services to the US market. At the same time, ZTE also announced that its platform could offer it the possibility to deliver FTP download rates of around 52Mbps at 10 MHz bandwidth. Moreover, the company also says that the new laboratory and the CDMA/LTE platform should enable it to conduct CDMA voice service and LTE HD (High Definition) video showcases at the same time. “With our new lab here in the U.S. we are demonstrating our heritage and core understanding of North American carriers and their technology requirements,” said Mr. Jiang Xiangyang, executive president of ZTE North America. â€!
