HTTP:: StarCraft II Can Be Played Offline in Singleplayer

Blizzard is one of the most popular video game developers and publishers out there, owning franchises like World of Warcraft or Diablo, which have garnered it a huge number of loyal fans. However, this huge number has gotten smaller, as the company revealed a few months ago that the upcoming StarCraft II would require players to be logged into the Battle.Net service. This meant that no games could be hosted on a Local Area Network, which made fans quite angry, and even had them resort to big petitions that, sadly, didn't make any impact on the developers at Blizzard. After last week's BlizzCon, the company revealed a few screenshots of the game and the Battle.net service, pictures that made people fear that they needed to log in to the online feature in order to play even the singleplayer mode. Such a thing isn't true, at least according to Blizzard's Rob Pardo, who talked with Kotaku and revealed that you would be able to âœPlay as a Guestâ if you couldn't connect to !
