Nintendo is a huge company in terms of gaming, but it is even bigger in the realm of entertainment, owning a lot of franchises that have spanned various mediums like Mario, The Legend of Zelda or Metroid. But without a doubt one of the most world famous series from under the umbrella of the Japanese corporation is Pokemon. The company has made a habit of releasing multiple versions of the same game but, seeing as how these titles have sold a huge number of units and are still in high demand, the strategy is definitely working. Two of the most important releases were Pokemon Gold and Pokemon Silver, which were launched for the GameBoy back in 2000. Now, in an effort to please fans and make even more money, the two titles will be revamped and released for the Nintendo DS in the form of Pokemon HeartGold and Pokemon SoulSilver.
