Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia announced today a collaboration with Thailand-based carrier AIS to deliver the Nokia Messaging push-email service in the country. AIS is the first operator in the country to offer Nokia's push-email service that delivers users the possibility to mobilize a number of consumer email solutions, including Ovi Mail, Gmail, Windows Live Hotmail and Yahoo! Mail, while also providing support for local email service providers. “Services like Nokia Messaging contribute to easier mobile living for our customers, and we're happy to be the first to deliver this service in Thailand. We believe our customers will find this service appealing, both in terms of user-friendliness and price,” says Mr. Somchai Lertsutthiwong, executive vice president, Marketing, AIS.
