The gaming industry is always moving forward, meaning that developers are trying to come up with new trends every day, from new ways to interact with the target audience to new and more efficient ways of delivering content to them, straight to their home. The latter, in the form of digital distribution, is picking up steam and growing by leaps and bounds, with many developers and publishers also bringing their titles to services such as Steam, Xbox Live or the PlayStation Network. But one company that is still cautious when it comes to digital distribution is Nintendo, which, even though it has its WiiWare and DSiWare services for the Wii and the DSi consoles, isn't bringing a lot of quality content to them, relying on smaller third-party developers to increase the portfolio.
