Microsoft is inviting online shoppers to think of Bing as their own personal stimulus package. The reference to the global economic crisis is the company's way of attempting to convince consumers to shop for more products by offering financial incentives. For the 2009 back to school shopping season, the Redmond company is offering, in collaboration with select online shops, cashback rewards that can be as high as half of the full price of products found and bought via Bing/Bing Shopping/Bing Cashback. “We always have great deals on Bing Shopping for you, and now, for a limited time, we are making them even better! Starting today, you’ll be able to find cashback rewards as high as 50% from select merchants for this back to school shopping season. Think of this as a Bing stimulus package,” revealed Raju Malhotra, director of product management, Bing.
