Electronic Arts' Need For Speed franchise has been a staplemark of the racing game genre for quite some time, ever since the first title arrived from EA Canada many years ago. Since then, we've been host to a variety of NFS titles, each one aiming to improve the recipe of its predecessors but also bring new things to the series. That is why this year EA will release three new NFS games, each trying to cater to a specific niche of gamers in order to please and get the money from everyone. Out of the three, NFS Shift is one of the most promising, as it tries to blend hardcore driving simulator mechanics with fun arcade experiences in one single package.
