Fans got their first glimpse of Jane of the Volturi clan in the “Meet Jacob Black†trailer that Summit Entertainment released a while ago. Just hours ago, Summit Entertainment started gradually releasing photos of the most deadly of all vampires, the Volturi â€" they have eventually been put together over at Yahoo! Movies, but not before making the rounds on the Internet separately. As MTV also points out, the photos show that the wait was truly worth it: the Volturi, even if they don’t all look like some fans might have imagined them, have that certain deadly, yet appealing, air about them that makes them so dangerous. As those who’ve read Stephenie Meyer’s books must know, they are centuries-old vampires who act as rulers (“royalty,†they’re called at one point) over all vampires, making sure their secret does not get out and eliminating all those who might draw too much unwanted attention to their kind.
