One game that managed such a thing is Funcom's Age of Conan, which has its background in the universe of the famous warrior. After registering quite a lot of acclaim from critics and being fairly popular in front of other titles like Warhammer Online, the game was rumored to be facing termination, but Funcom fought back and brought the title into the public spotlight again. Now, the company has announced the first expansion to the game, subtitled Rise of the Godslayer. The add-on will be inspired from the rich and colorful cultures of eastern Asia and will send players on a voyage to the Empire of Khitai, where many hours of epic adventures await each and every one of them.
