McAfee, Inc has recently announced that it has extended its McAfee Security Innovation Alliance (SIA) program by adding 11 new partners from United States and Europe. This technology partnering program is meant to speed up the development of interoperable security products, but also to facilitate their integration within complex user environments. “In 2007, McAfee made the strategic decision to unlock its technology architecture, allowing integrations with the McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator platform, Vulnerability Management Service and Endpoint Encryption solutions,” stated Ed Barry, senior director, McAfee Security Innovation Alliance. “Today, the program includes more than 65 partners that are collaborating with us to maximize the value of existing customer investments, to reduce time to problem resolution and to ultimately lower operational costs.
