HTTP:: Sony Brings Halloween to its MMOs

Sony Online Entertainment has announced a host of events set to be introduced in MMOs like the Everquest pair, Legends of Norrath, Star Wars Galaxies and Free Realms as Halloween approaches. The biggest events should take place in Free Realms, the free-to-play MMO that Sony launched this year. The Super Spooktaculer update for the title is set to offer decorations for all game areas, 14 new quests for players to try out, two fresh Quest Packs filled with card games and mini games related to mummies. There are 35 new costumes that can be bought and used by players and by their pets, among them chicken and witch costumes.Andy Sites, who is a senior producer at Sony Online Entertainment, said that âœWe are celebrating the first Halloween in Free Realms, with weeks of spooky activities and festive live events.
