In a series of Support documents posted on its website, Apple details the changes undergone by each Final Cut Studio application following the release of Pro Applications Update 2009-01. Available exclusively to Mac OS X users, the update enhances the overall stability, and addresses a number of minor issues with applications like Motion 4.0.1, Soundtrack Pro 3.0.1, Color 1.5.1, and Compressor 3.5.1. Soundtrack Pro 3.0.1 is an update to Soundtrack Pro 3.0, according to Apple. As part of the paid upgrade to Final Cut Studio (2009), it corrects an issue with the Get Info window for Soundtrack Pro and it is highly recommended for all Soundtrack Pro 3 users, according to Support article TS2510. Color 1.5.1, also part of the paid upgrade to Final Cut Studio (2009), fixes half a dozen issues related to the gamma of the monitor, the aspect ratio, loading / opening / saving files, and others.
