Hello and welcome to another edition of A Gamer's Week, your roundup of the most important gaming news from the last seven days. It's been a truly hectic week this one, as it was host to the GamesCon in Cologne, Germany, and has also seen the BlizzCon in Anaheim, California. Of course, a lot of announcements and rumors have arrived these days and here are the most important ones, in A Gamer's Week. Monday was pretty big for World of Warcraft fans, as supposedly new details about the upcoming Cataclysm expansion surfaced on various WoW-dedicated forums. Besides the new races and events, this update will completely revamp Azeroth. It was also the day when a special source told us that a new Medal of Honor game would appear in the summer of 2010, focused on modern events but set in a fictional timeline. Tuesday was host to two big statements from Microsoft and Bethesda regarding their most precious franchises. The first was in regard to the Halo movie and how Microsoft said !
that it was currently 'on hold' and nobody was handling it as of yet. Bethesda's Pete Hines then talked about how his studio was working on a new The Elder Scrolls title and that when he and his team had something to show, it would be revealed to the public.
