Another bit of information regarding the Nintendo price drop on the Wii is flowing around the endless void that is the web. Beside all the recent appearances of all sort of advertisements that are to be laid out in retail stores, it seems the closest thing to an official statement has been released. Or at least the closest thing to an official statement without being an official statement. Let us elaborate. Through gaming site Kotaku, Nintendojo relates about a retailer conference call in which the rumored price cut is to finally take effect on September 27. Nintendojo is a non-profit site, created and run by fans, that focuses on anything Nintendo-related. The website was founded by Peer Schneider in September 1996, who eventually left it and gave birth to IGN Entrainment, where he currently acts as Vice-President of Content Publishing.
