Apple has updated the HP Printer Drivers for Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, adding support for new printers under the latest version of the Mac OS. The package containing HP Printer Drivers for Mac OS X v10.6 “includes the latest HP printing and scanning software for Snow Leopard,” Apple says. Requiring Mac OS X v10.6.1 or later, the 383MB installer application supports multiple languages and is free to download. From the Support / Downloads section of its website, Apple takes users to a detailed tech note saying that, “Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard includes software for many printer and scanner models. This software can be installed from the Snow Leopard Install DVD, and installed or updated by using Software Update (some models have software available through Software Update only).
