It would appear that the PC market has been flooded with new computer systems that are based on Intel's low-power Atom processors. Most of these systems come in compact, mini form factors and are designed for business users or consumers that are looking for a rig that can provide a basic computing experience, while also saving energy and space. However, there are a couple of systems that take advantage of the same small form factor, but combing it with a higher-performance desktop processor. Such is the case with one of Fujitsu's latest releases, the Esprimo Q 1500, a desktop PC that weights in at only 1.7kg and is just 5cm tall.Unlike the majority of the systems that have recently been launched on the market, the Esprimo Q 1500 hasn't compromised on performance and has been featured with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor. This choice enables users to deal with an increased computing power over Atom-based systems, but in a form factor similar to those mini PCs that use the Atom!
