Not long ago, Sylvester Stallone promised that the fourth “Rambo” would be his last, just like “Rocky Balboa” was the last “Rocky” film. At one point, the star even hinted that making another movie of the type would be too physically challenging for him, and suggested that he would stick only to directing and writing scripts. Whether Stallone realized he still had it in him to make another “Rambo” film or not, the bottom line is that he is to start working on it this spring, as Variety can confirm. The fifth film will see Rambo return to his special missions, with Stallone attached as the main star and director. No mention has yet been made on whether he will also pen the script, but, given that he wrote all of them so far, one can presume that is not really that far-fetched, industry insiders say.
