Apple has released a new version of iTunes, its proprietary digital media player application, used for playing, purchasing and organizing digital music and video files, as well as applications for the iPhone and iPod touch. With the release of iTunes 9 earlier this month, Apple updated key parts of the software including the programâ™s user interface. However, as bugs and security issues are always discovered, the company is prompted to release more minor updates, such as todayâ™s iTunes 9.0.1, which âœprovides a number of important bug fixes,â according to the Mac maker. While the iTunes 9.0.1 changelog on Appleâ™s Support section may look big, itâ™s not.
