In tandem with the iTunes 9.0.1 software update, Apple has issued updates for users of its digital audio workstation and MIDI sequencer software application for the Mac OS X, Logic Studio. Both the full and limited-functionality versions of the software are being updated with numerous fixes and enhancements that should deliver an overall better user experience, Apple says. Speaking about both Logic Pro and Logic Express, the Mac maker reveals that update 9.0.1 “improves overall stability and provides numerous fixes and enhancements.” According to Apple, issues addressed include: flex Markers can align & snap to MIDI notes; performing a punch-in recording with Replace Mode now behaves correctly; the I/O plug-in adds an option for latency compensation. Adding that the update is recommended for all users of Logic Pro / Express 9, Apple then takes visitors of its website to a separate section, where the release notes for Logic Pro / Express 9.0.1 are posted.
