HTTP:: Frugalware 1 1 Has a Greatly Improved Installer

The Frugalware Developer Team announced earlier today the release of Frugalware 1.1, the eleventh stable version in almost five years, which they dubbed "Getorin." One of the most important developments that are incorporated into Frugalware 1.1 is the major overhaul that fwife, the distribution's installer, received. The network configuration functions were improved and the DHCP support for autoconfiguration was added. Since the Enlightenment 17 window manager was added to the repository, the installer was changed to support this alternative setup and handle any possible conflicts. EXT4 support was added, along with the possibility to format partitions with this file system. Visually, the installer has an improved layout and the icons were changed. Frugalware's desktop now features new artwork, including wallpapers and a changed Gnome Theme. The users that are on 64-bit systems will be happy to see that the Adobe Flash plugin for that platform is now included in the defau!
