Developer Markus Winter has released a new version of his startup mode tool for Mac OS X, 32- or 64-bit Kernel Startup Mode Selector 1.3. The new release adds four key improvements. Mac OS X 10.6 32-64-Bit Kernel Startup Mode Selector is free to download and use, but donations are highly encouraged. Mac OS X 10.6 32-64-Bit Kernel Startup Mode Selector 1.3 adds info on new models, as well as new icons for unknown and capable but not supported models. Developer Markus Winter also made some help-text model specific, and implemented the ability to see your Mac’s model directly from the program’s UI.
