HTTP:: HTC Touch Pro2 to Sport 3 5mm Jack in North America

Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC announced recently that it planned to include the standard 3.5mm headphone jack in its future handsets, following the release of its latest Android-powered handset, the HTC Hero, yet no one was expecting to learn so quickly that the company put its plan into practice, and that the HTC Touch Pro2, due for release in the US and Canada in the near future, would already include the new standard port. Even so, recent reports around the Web show that the high-end Windows Mobile-based device indeed features the 3.5mm jack that HTC's users have been longing for. According to a recent post on MobileSyrup, the upcoming CDMA flavor of the device comes with the aforementioned capability, and is on its way to Telus and Verizon. Moreover, it seems that the Taiwan-based manufacturer has made all things by the book with the switch from the ExtUSB jack to the new 3.5mm jack.
