xchange magazine announced on Wednesday that Samsung Mobile had just received the Best of 4G Award for its Samsung Mondi handset that was included in the Mobile Internet Device category. The magazine also stated that the awards were meant to show which were the leaders in the development, deployment and service when it came to the 4G technology. The mobile phone maker received the award at the 4G World conference and expo in Chicago. “xchange is pleased to honor Samsung Mobile’s contributions to the development and advancement of 4G technology and services,†said Mike Saxby, group publisher of xchange. “The growth in the 4G arena has been incredible, as shown by Samsung Mobile’s achievement.†Both the xchange and 4G World Web sites will display Samsung Mobile and the handset. What the Samsung Mondi can deliver to users includes enhanced download and upload speeds, which can rise to up to double the speeds that are delivered by mobile phones available today on !
