Sony, as the publisher, and Polyphony Digital, as the developer, are only a few short months away from the release date for the new Gran Turismo videogame for the PlayStation Portable, which was first detailed at the E3 conference.But info on the game is scarce at the moment so the fans will be happy to learn that the developers are at least talking about how the game will not be getting any downloadable content and how a demo is not planned to arrive before the official release date.On the issue of the lack of DLC, Chris Hinojosa Miranda and Taku Imasaki, who are the producers of Gran Turismo PSP, said that “We’re planning on having 800+ cars right out of the box, which is pretty much a lifetime’s worth of racing (I’m still unlocking cars from GT4). With that sort of breadth and reach of options, having DLC would be like tossing water into the ocean.” Seems fair enough as long as the included cars are different from one another to allow players to experience diff!
