Since the public memorial service for Michael Jackson, held in Los Angeles at the Staples Center, sister Janet has been keeping a very low profile. There have been a few public appearances and a couple of interviews (and, of course, plenty of rumors), but this is small pickings compared with the kind of exposure she used to get. Janet resurfaced at the amFAR Milano 2009, looking as fabulous as ever. The event precedes the kickoff of the Milan Fashion Week, and Janet was one of the special guests there with longtime beau Jermaine Dupri, thus coming to rubbish earlier reports that they had moved in separate directions. For the red carpet, the singer opted for a Versace navy blue, floor-long gown that wrapped around her waist and made her look as spectacular as ever. Janet Jackson has waged a very long battle with the extra pounds, as she’s the first to admit.
