This week, Nintendo finally announced that the Wii would be receiving a price cut to 199 dollars, which means that all the current-generation consoles are now cheaper than in August. It's a good sign for the gaming industry in the run up to Christmas, but surely not the only news you need to take into account this week. Monday was a day of confirmations. On the one hand, BioShock 2 was confirmed by 2K as arriving in February 2010, while Blizzard told us what we already know, namely that the long development time and delays were a way of creating truly great experiences, like Diablo III and Starcraft II. On Tuesday, Relic announced that Dawn of War II was set to get more Warhammer 40,000 goodness, with Chaos Rising introducing the Chaos Marines and a full, new campaign of 20 missions. Meanwhile, the guys at Infinity Ward said that Modern Warfare 3 was not in any way in development. Wednesday was a day of oddities, as Microsoft priced the Sergeant Johnson DLC for Halo 3: O!
