Apple’s Support / Downloads section is featuring new updates for users of its just-released Mac OS X version 10.6, Snow Leopard. Network Registration Update 1.0 is one of those updates. The download is recommended for servers running Mac OS X Server 10.6, as it addresses an issue with duplicate serial number alerts when dealing with multiple network interfaces. At first glance, Apple says little about Network Registration Update 1.0, mentioning only that, “The Network Registration Update is recommended for servers running Mac OS X Server version 10.6.
