Pakistan's military intelligence service is in contact with fugitive Taliban leader Mullah Mohammed Omar and is willing to persuade him to come to the negotiating table with the United States to bring an end to the near eight-year conflict in Afghanistan, a Pakistani military spokesman tells CNN.
